Celtic captain Callum McGregor has given the Hoops the lead against St Mirren at the SMiSA Stadium.
McGregor’s goal is the fastest Scottish Premiership goal of the season so far, scored just 2 minutes and 32 seconds into the game.
With James Forrest cutting inside from the right wing, he found McGregor on the edge of the St Mirren box.
McGregor fired from distance, and despite Saints keeper Ellery Balcombe getting a fingertip to the ball, it flew into the net, leaving him with no chance.

The Celtic captain is clearly stepping up with crucial goals as Matt O’riley is out of the starting 11, preparing to join Brighton.
With the Dane in England to complete the move, McGregor’s timely contributions are proving vital.
