The jubilant scenes at Hampden Park were brilliant as James Forrest, coming off the bench, delivered what seemed like a potential match-winner for Celtic in their Scottish Cup semi-final clash against Aberdeen.

The roar that erupted from the Celtic fans when Forrest scored his team’s second goal was captured in a video which has just made its way onto Twitter.

Forrest’s strike, which put Celtic ahead following Nicolas Kuhn’s earlier equaliser, momentarily set the stage for a victory within regulation time. However, Aberdeen’s late goal in the 90th minute extended the match into extra time, ultimately leading to a nerve-wracking penalty shootout.
Celtic secured their place in the final through penalties after the match concluded with a 3-3 draw.
After Sunday’s result, Celtic will face Rangers in the final on May 25, after the league season is over. By that time, Celtic could be going for a cup and league double.
But, until then, it’s all focus on the league.
