Brendan Rodgers refused to discuss a Kieran Tierney return to Celtic this month, with the Scottish defender in the last six months of his Arsenal deal.
Tierney, who has been linked with a loan move until the end of the season with a view to a pre-contract from the summer.
Celtic are rumoured to pay a £3 million loan fee and half of his wages, with Tierney already rejecting the likes of West Ham, Brentford, and Leicester in favour of a return to Glasgow.
Wages are said not to be an issue for the former Celtic defender, who is desperate to rejoin his boyhood club and relive the glory days under Rodgers, who remained coy on a deal post-match.

It is not unusual for the Irishman not to discuss players outside the club, particularly Tierney, with such media attention across the UK over a potential deal.
If Celtic can sign Tierney on any sort of deal this month, it will likely be the top news story in Scotland.
However, with Greg Taylor walking up the tunnel straight after the game alongside Rodgers, it does mean that the Irishman faces a tough task of convincing Taylor to re-sign, with his current deal up in the summer.
After such fanfare over Tierney potentially rejoining, Taylor will likely be left feeling unwanted, which is simply not true given his hugely successful four and a half years at the club.
