Paulo Bernardo doubled Celtic’s lead with a thunderous strike just outside the Livingston box.
After a quick one-two with Matt O’Riley, Bernardo found himself in plenty of space in the 72nd minute with the opportunity to take a shot at goal, too hard to pass up for the Portuguese playmaker.
Despite a disappointing few months, Bernardo took his goal very well this afternoon.
Yet again, Matt O’Riley was involved, even though the Danish midfielder fell over; he still managed to get the ball to Bernardo.
🔥 "He really can hit them!"

With Callum McGregor and Reo Hatate both competing for spots in midfield alongside O’Riley, Bernardo will find it difficult to regain his spot in the starting 11.
However, a goal today certainly improved his chances of working his way back into the lineup.
If Celtic are to make his loan deal permanent in the summer, Bernardo must continue to add goals and assists if he is to keep out players like McGregor and Hatate.
