Watch: Anthony Ralston Scores on Full Scotland Debut

ANTHONY RALSTON scored his first goal for his country as the side took on Armenia in their opening match in the Nations League.

It was the Celtic Star’s first start for his country, and he’s marked it in style.

After going off with a head knock to receive treatment, the right-back headed the ball that was floated in by former Celtic star Stuart Armstrong. It was a superb finish.

Tony has been the best player on the park, if he continues the way he’s playing he’ll be undroppable.

Scotland fans were questioning Clarke’s decision to start the player, but they won’t be questioning it anymore.

A year ago, it looked like Ralston would be looking for a new club, with his Celtic contract expiring. Then, out of the blue, he was handed a year extension and one last chance to prove his worth.

He grabbed this opportunity with both hands and impressed the new manager Ange Postecoglou. He was rewarded with a long-term contract for his turnaround.

There is no one in football more deserving of this than Anthony Ralston.
