Watch: Aberdeen Goalkeeper’s Embarrassing Attempt to Thwart Penalty Kick

Celtic marched to a deserved 6-0 victory over Aberdeen on Sunday afternoon. Goals from Yang, Kyogo, Luis Palma, and Oh were enough for the Bhoys.

Throughout, the Scottish champions were on top form. Their Sunday performance was a brilliant testament to their resilient character that helped them bounce back from midweek.

The Hoops’ third of the afternoon came from the spot. Oh was brought down in the box, and Honduran internationalist Palma stepped up and made no mistake.

Before he hit it, though, Dons ‘keeper Kelle Roos could be visibly seen attempting to mark the spot and potentially prevent the hosts from netting:

Evidently, Roos’ attempt didn’t go to plan. The 31-year-old was booked for his stupid actions.

Palma netted the penalty with conviction, and after he had done so, the Celts went on to score three more. It was a poor day at the office for the Dutchman whose hapless attempts to act smart didn’t pay off in the end.
