Vissel Kobe has announced on their website a special appearance from Kyogo Furuhashi, who will return to his former club to greet fans during halftime of their match against Kawasaki Frontale on Sunday, June 16th.

Of course, Kawasaki Frontale is the former club of current Celtic star Reo Hatate.
In addition to his halftime appearance, Kyogo will also serve as a guest commentator for the broadcaster DAZN, offering his insights during the game.
Celtic initially signed Kyogo out of the blue from Vissel Kobe in 2021, and since then, he has been a standout performer for the Scottish club, netting 73 goals over three seasons.
Despite recent rumours suggesting a potential return to Japan for the 29-year-old striker, there currently appears to be no concrete evidence supporting the speculation of his departure from Celtic.
Kyogo did struggle under Brendan Rodgers last season, only hitting 19 goals, but the manager is more than aware of the quality that he possesses.
