Burnley has reportedly expressed interest in acquiring Celtic’s Japanese sensation, Kyogo Furuhashi, according to recent reports in The Sun.

Furuhashi, who lost his mentor Ange Postecoglou to Tottenham Hotspur, has been a key figure in Celtic’s lineup under Brendan Rodgers’ management.
The SPFL Player of the Year and Top Scorer is attracting a lot of interest this summer, with Postecoglou also keen for a reunion.
Vincent Kompany, the manager of Burnley, is said to have shown interest in Furuhashi as a possible replacement for Nathan Tella, who spent the previous season on loan at Turf Moor. However, Southampton’s £18m valuation of Tella might prove to be a stumbling block, leading Burnley to consider other alternatives.
Celtic’s asking price is not clear, but reports liked Tottenham with a move worth over £25 million for the Japanese international earlier this month.
Furuhashi had another successful season in Scotland. The forward has had an impressive run, scoring 34 goals in 50 matches, a significant improvement from his debut season’s 20 goals in 33 matches.
