Viljami Sinisalo made his Celtic debut last night in the Hoops’ 4-0 thumping of DC United. The new signing replaced Scott Bain at half-time to make his bow for the Bhoys.

In the 45 minutes he played, Sinisalo didn’t have much goalkeeping to do other than a few claims and simple catches.
The 22-year-old, though, was formidable with the ball at his feet. Sinisalo’s distribution was impeccable.
He looked more than comfortable playing out from the back; his tremendous long ball into the midfield for Yang kicked off the move which led to the Celts’ third of the night.
It is early days yet, but for just £1m, Celtic look like they have got a bargain in Sinisalo.
For his age, the ‘keeper joined with a high reputation and in the 45 minutes he has played for the Scottish champions so far, he has lived up to it.
There is a long way to go before the Finn asserts himself between the sticks, but learning from Kasper Schmeichel throughout the upcoming campaign will only serve him well.
