KYOGO broke his Glasgow duck on Monday afternoon, his late goal enough to salvage a point for Celtic, maintaining their nine-point lead at the top of the table.
Ange Postecoglou didn’t start his best side, which was surprising. However, the Hoops got in front through a brilliant Daizen Maeda goal. The Celtic attacker taking advantage of a huge mistake; once he had the ball, there was no chance he was missing.
Celtic fell away in the first half, and both teams looked like they were passing it to each other at points. The standard was ridiculously poor.

There were no changes during the break, which was a surprise. Celtic came out for the second half and collapsed in six minutes to go 2-1 behind.
It was a turgid game after that, with Celtic and the home side offering very little. It looked like the game would peter out when Aaron Mooy made in-roads into the box. The ball was squeezed further into the box by Jota, then Giakoumakis, falling at the feet of Kyogo, who rattled the back of the net.
The silence inside Ibrox was deafening.

There’s no doubt the game feels like a win for Celtic fans and a defeat for Rangers fans, given how things panned out. Rangers really needed a victory and were close to getting it, only to be foiled by another late Celtic goal.
