Video: VAR Incredibly Dismisses Reckless Kyogo Head Knock

Celtic were comfortable winners against Aberdeen on Sunday afternoon live on Sky Sports. The bhoys played some outstanding football as they swept aside the dons.

However, a second half incident involving Kyogo has left a sour taste in the mouth.

The Japanese Celtic striker who scored Celtic’s second goal of the day was knocked out by Aberdeen centre back Rubezic when he recklessly went for the ball, clashing with the back of Kyogo’s head.

It’s a difficult watch, Kyogo looks like he loses consciousness before he hits the ground.

Kyogo could play no further part in the match while Rubezic only received a yellow card for endangering his fellow professional.

How VAR has not looked at that is beyond us.

Kyogo absolutely hammered in the back of the head and will now be assessed for a concussion.

Celtic maintained their eight point lead at the top of the table with the victory over Aberdeen. The bhoys were in great form despite missing some key players. We now take a pause for the final international break of the year before the heavy Christmas schedule kicks in.
