Video: Ryan Christie Thunder Bolt Makes Killie Player Look Foolish

RUAN CHRISTIE has gotten Celtic off the mark at Rugby Park with a super free kick from distance.

The midfielder made the ambitious decision to strike the ball instead of playing in a teammate and, wow, it worked a treat.

The free kick came about after Odsonne a Edouard rinsed a Kilmarnock player leaving hatchet man Gary Dicker to intentionally foul the Frenchman with a very cynical challenge.

The Killie player thought he had taken a good yellow for his side BUT the resulting foul gave Christie the chance to smash one past the goalkeeper.

The bhoys looked a bit shaky to start with but came into the game as they felt their way around the plastic pitch.

Killie equalised through a penalty kick. Christopher Jullien bringing the Kbamba down in the box.

It’s 1-1 at the moment at Rugby Park with plenty of time still on the clock.
