Ange Postecoglou branded the Alkmaar home tie a ‘cracking game of football’ as the bhoys ran out deserved two-nil winners on Wednesday night.
The manager was delighted with the effort his team put in and believes they keep leaving it all on the field every game.
During the interview, the manager also revealed a right-back is about to be signed but didn’t mention Jusip Juranovic by name.
He also nodded when the Celtic TV interviewer claimed Ryan Christie could feature on Saturday.

🗣️ "It was a cracking game of football. Our players showed tremendous spirit and will to keep playing our football and it's great to come out on top."

Ange has really done well getting his philosophy across to the players in such a short period of time.
It hasn’t been perfect but Celtic fans couldn’t have envisioned this sort of progress so early in the season.
Kyogo has been a revelation, Hart has steadied the ship in goals, Abada has been lively and the players from last season who were so bereft of confidence now look like they’re enjoying their football again. Hopefully, the feel-good factor can continue.
