Rocco Vata has had quite the week. The 17-year-old made his first team debut on Wednesday and then was on hand Friday to help the Celtic B team to a 5-2 victory over Rangers B.
The Lowland League clash was switched to Celtic Park in order to get a decent crowd in to support the Hoops.
Vata helped pull Celtic back into the game when the Bhoys were 1-0 down and then watched as Rangers B pulled ahead 2-1 in the second half. The over the top and obnoxious celebrations from the Rangers B side was something to behold. They went right up to the Celtic fans and milked their moment – none more so than Rangers youngster Charlie McCann.

Things would turn quickly for young McCann when he sparked the Celtic revival – with the game still in the balance, the Ibrox youth star buried the ball in the back of the net for Celtic!
After gloating and giving it large in front of the Celtic support, McCann crumbled to the ground as he watched his attempt at a block/clearance hit the back of his own net. Rocco Vata was on hand to make sure he knew all about it! Watch below.
Joey Dawson would come on as a sub and blow the visitors away in the end. A great day for Celtic and a warm up for fans ahead of the derby at Ibrox.
Rocco Vata continues to win the hearts of the Celtic support.
