Edouard has already become the top scorer in France under 21 history but he’s not content. The Frenchman has followed up his goal at the weekend with another one on Wednesday for his country.

This time it wasn’t from the spot, instead, it was a sensational chip in the six yard box with the goalkeeper bearing down on the Celtic striker.

Many supporters will bemoan he’s not done this nearly enough for Celtic this season but he still is Celtic’s top goalscorer during an indifferent season.

There’s very little chance Edouard stays beyond this summer but if he keeps scoring for his country it can only be a good thing for the valuation Celtic can set for the frontman.

It’s going to be a sad day when the Frenchman does move on, he has the potential to be world class.

Sadly Celtic fans have already seen the last of Eddy in the flesh playing for the Hoops.

Let’s hope Celtic get a lot of cash for the goalscorer when the time comes.
