The search for a new goalkeeper at Celtic continues despite having months and months of notice of Joe Hart’s retirement.

Michael Nicholson, Celtic’s Chief Executive, found himself at the centre of this fan frustration during the Hoops’ visit to Lesser Hampden.
After a pre-season match, Nicholson was grilled by a fan who shouted from a nearby window, probing about the club’s progress in finding a successor to Joe Hart.
The exchange ended with the fan even inviting Nicholson for a pint.

Celtic supporters are eager for the club to finalize their goalkeeper situation as the team prepares for their upcoming US tour, where they’ll face DC United, Manchester City, and Chelsea. However, as things stand, this doesn’t look likely.

Scott Bain has started in the preseason matches, but the thought of him starting on Kilmarnock in August is quite something.

Let’s hope Nicholson was on his phone to a goalkeeper’s agent while he was getting heckled.
