Video: Kris Ajer’s Brilliant Strike Past Fraser Forster

On Saturday, Brentford faced Southhampton in the English Premier League with former Celtic stars locking horns.

Fraser Forster and Stuart Armstrong started for Southampton with Mo Elyounoussi coming off the bench. Kris Ajer started for the London club he moved to in the summer.

Brentford emerged 3-0 winners from the match, with Kris Ajer scoring the side’s third goal. Gliding by Southhampton defenders, the former Hoops star found himself one on one with Forster and made no mistake in slotting it in.

Celtic got a brilliant fee for Ajer, in the region of £13 million, not bad for someone with less than a year remaining on their deal and publically expressing their eagerness to depart.

The money was invested into the rebuild, with Celtic operating at a profit with transfers, and that just shows how successful Celtic have been in the market.

Ajer watched on as Bournemouth secured promotion to the Premier League, with former teammate Ryan Christie playing for the cherries.
