Ah, what a splendid evening at Ibrox, where Willie Collum and his trusty sidekick VAR put on a masterclass in refereeing. Truly, it was a performance for the ages, one that will be studied by future generations of referees aiming to reach the pinnacle of ineptitude. You see, it takes a special kind of skill to ignore a blatant foul and let a player waltz through to score their first goal. It’s almost poetic, really.
That’s what happened on the night at Ibrox and we’re scratching our heads as to what the rules are any more in Scottish football.
It was rumoured The Rangers had a wee chat with the SFA after their game against Celtic. Ah yes, the power of a good moan! Were officials too scared to call this a foul? It’s wild to think this set the home side up for a semi-final.
Usually we don’t even bother writing about these things, but this is so blatant it has to be shared.
Standard now, eh? ๐pic.twitter.com/E8yLpZzzDc

There are already so many examples of this foul being made and officials calling it back, so why didn’t they on Wednesday night at Ibrox. You be the judge.
We should be thankful that they’re giving a helping hand to wee Micky in the dugout, who will keep scraping along until he comes up against Celtic again. Bless.
