Former Celtic Academy bhoy Ben Doak came back to haunt his old rivals on Tuesday, helping Liverpool’s youth side to a 4-1 victory in the Champions League youth team.
Ben made his first team debut for Celtic last season under Ange Postecoglou, but it wasn’t enough to convince him to stay. The player had his head turned by Liverpool and signed on with the Anfield side this summer.

Playing for the Liverpool youth side the player helped thump the Ibrox club 4-1 on the day. Being a Celtic fan – he’ll have taken some pleasure from it.
Celtic themselves have yet to in a game in the UCL youth league. Defeats to Shakhtar and Real Madrid so far have made it a tough initiation back into the competition.
They will have to put in a top performance against Leipzig on Wednesday afternoon to get something out of that game. Could the step up from the Scottish Lowland League be too much?
