CELTIC punched their ticket to the League Cup Final in December, but the day was most certainly about one man – Bertie Auld.

The Green Brigade were sensational paying homage to Bertie on Saturday – the first time the Celtic fans had got together since the Celtic legend’s passing.

Before the game, the TIFO was green and white with Bertie’s name through it.

At the 67th minute, the usual time when Celtic fans get their torches out to celebrate their most famous win – this banner came out – with flairs and all. It was really special.

It’s not lost on us that a homegrown bhoy got the winner on a day when we were celebrating one of our favourite sons and giving him the self off he deserved.

Bertie loved a Celtic victory at Hampden and the tribute was perfect for the wee man.

The Celtic Legend will be sorely missed by the whole Celtic Family.
