Video: Edouard Scores 27 Seconds into Palace Debut

Odsonne Edouard came off the bench this afternoon for his new club Crystal Palace and scored less than 60 seconds after coming on.

The former Celtic striker finally moved on on deadline day – moving to Palace to play under French legend Patrick Vieira.

The club were taking on Tottenham on Saturday afternoon. The game was already 1-0 to Palace when Eddy was introduced and doubled the home sides lead.

Eddy had certainly come to the end of his time at Celtic and both he and the club needed a clean break from one another.

It’s always good to see former Celtic players doing well after leaving the club. Eddy has the potential to make it big and if his start is anything to go by, the sky’s the limit. The striker scored again with the last kick of the ball making it 2 goals in 15 mins of football.

Celtic have a new hero in Kyogo Furuhashi but unfortunately the player is out injured for around a month. Ajeti starts for Celtic this afternoon.
