Video: David Turnbull Scores Belter to Put Celtic Level

It’s been a hectic start to the game at Celtic Park as the bhoys take on St Mirren in the SPFL.

The home side were down 1-0 within the first ten minutes in a subdued Celtic Park. However, it would be David Turnbull who would light up the drab, wet night in Glasgow with a fantastic strike to put the bhoys back on level terms.

The Scottish midfielder slammed the ball home from outside the area finding the top corner of the goal.

Apart from St Mirren’s goal they haven’t been in the game at all with Celtic smothering them, pressing them high up the pitch.

Celtic should have taken the lead when a handball and VAR Check handed Celtic a penalty. However, David Turnbull would not find the back of the net on that occasion. The former Motherwell man hitting the post with Luis Palma’s rebound shot saved by the goalkeeper.
