Many Celtic fans took to the Celtic Way this afternoon before the game to protest the current Celtic board and they way they’ve handled the running of the club over the last two years and beyond.
Celtic fans have been branded entitled in the past because they demanded better from the custodians of our club. The ambition to just be better than the next best SPFL side has cost us dearly in Europe and it caught up to us in a major way last season.
The fans are keen to hold the board and our chairman to account. We simply shouldn’t be shrugging our shoulders and wiping our hands of last season – letting them go again unencumbered. If fans don’t hold the board to account they can continue to make decisions which will have detrimental consequences knowing they can get away with it.
In true Celtic style though, the protesters have the team a rapturous ovation as the team buss pulled into the Celtic Way.

A lot of the fans in attendance don’t even have tickets to the game today. Celtic Park not fully open until Thursday evening.
