Video: Celtic Get Massive Plug During Japan World Cup Qualifier

Celtic’s influence in Japan is growing by the day. We’ve saw billboards, articles in local newspapers and now the bhoys are getting top billing at half time during Japan’s World Cup qualifier against Saudi Arabia.

DAZN carries the SPFL over in Japan and has made sure the bhoys were heavily advertised with our Japanese stars pictured throughout.

Captain Callum McGregor also shown leading the team out at Celtic Park.

A Celtic fan staying in Japan caught the footage.

The Japanese bhoys are having an effect both on and off the park. Kyogo has been sensational since coming in. Reo Hatate has already helped Celtic grab vital points and Maeda scored 14 minutes into his debut. Ideguchi has yet to show what he can really do after being injured in Celtic’s Scottish Cup qualifier against Alloa.

If the four players can help Celtic to more trophies we can only see Celtic’s influence grow among football fans in Japan.
