It wasn’t all three points in the end but there were so many positives to take from our performance in Lille on Thursday night.
None more so than our new loan defender Diego Laxalt who had a man of the match performance.
The Uruguayan was all over the pitch and in the face of his opponents throughout the night.

If the left back can continue to perform to that standard, we have a player on our hands this season.
