Celtic’s recent tour of the USA couldn’t have gone better, with the team securing impressive wins over DC United, Man City, and Chelsea. The Hoops defied expectations, particularly against Premier League sides.
The tour wasn’t just about the football, though. The dedication of Celtic fans was on full display, with supporters traveling from all corners of the States to see the team. For many, it was their first time witnessing the Bhoys in action live, creating unforgettable memories. Many of the American based Celtic CSCs were in attendance, creating an atmosphere that was nothing short of electric.
One of the tour’s highlights was a video that emerged of fans celebrating in the kiosk area after the Chelsea victory, singing ‘Don’t Worry, Be Happy.’
It was a scene that these fans usually only experience through social media, but this time they were right in the thick of it. The joy was palpable, and the fact that they witnessed their team win made it all the sweeter.
The USA tour is now over and the bhoys are set to return to Lennoxtown. The new football season kicks off next week when Kilmarnock visits Celtic Park. The champions will unfurl the flag and get down to business of defending their SPFL title for the fourth consecutive year in a row.
