Video: Brilliant Japanese Commentary of Reo Hatate’s Super Strike

REO HATATE opened his goal scoring account for Celtic on Wednesday night, and what a goal it was.

With the game sitting at 0-0, Reo couldn’t believe the amount of space he found himself in at Tynecastle. With Jota to his left, expecting a pass, the midfielder took a touch and then bang! Goal.

Japanese based journalist Dan Orlowitz was kind enough to give us the translation.

“Hatate… looks forward, the shot goes… HE SCORES! In his 2nd match (for Celtic), Reo Hatate has already scored the opener! Postecoglou all smiles! An absolutely lively Hatate! Last game he was man of the match, today he scores! He gets the ball there and just takes the shot!”

Reo was playing his second SPFL game on the bounce. After a man of the match display against Hibernian, he terrorised the other half of Edinburgh with this incredible strike.

It was a game of two halves in many respects.

Well, Celtic were in control for a part of the second half before they conceded a goal that was marginally offside.

After Hearts scored to make it 2-1, we couldn’t keep a hold of the ball, the Jambos grew into the game. Celtic conceded a penalty – Nir Bitton handling the ball in the box.

Liam Boyce stepped up for the home side, sent Joe Hart the wrong but was denied to the post. Much to the delight of every Celtic fan.

Celtic’s new signings are already paying dividends for the club in their first two spfl ties.

It looks like there’s more to come.
