Celtic look set to seal a move for Bosun Lawal after the player was pictured heading into Celtic Park with his representatives.

Bosun is currently with Watford but is set to sign for the Hoops and most likely go into the colt side for next season.

The Irish under 21 international joins a growing number of young Irish players at Celtic. Players like Luca Connell, Lee O’Connor and Jonathan Afolabi. That trio have not had the best chance to breakthrough at Celtic and all have been sent out on loan.

The hope is the young players will have a better chance to progress with the colt side and with the new manager’s philosophy when it comes to young players.

Celtic have yet to make a proper, first team ready signing yet and we’re getting very close to competitive football. Bosun looks like a top player but he’s likely going to be someone for next season and not this term, but you never know.
