On-loan Celt, Vakoun Bayo grabbed the opening goal for Toulouse this afternoon with his loan club running out 2-0 winners.

The striker has started to show some form since the turn of the year and is getting chances in the side to impress.

Vakoun doesn’t look likely to have a career at Celtic beyond this season. It’s likely the forward will be moved on when Celtic begin their summer rebuild.

Recommended by Kolo Toure and signed by Brendan Rodgers, Bayo hasn’t done enough.

He’s had limited opportunities but at a club like Celtic you need to impress when you get the chance or you will quickly fade into the background.

There’s no word if Toulouse would like to make the deal permanent but if Celtic and Bayo part ways this summer, it’s probably for the best.
