ANGE POSTECOGLOU says he’s proud of his players despite the defeat against Real Betis on Thursday evening.
The manager watched his side take a two-goal lead away from home, only to squander it in spectacular fashion, losing 4-3. It’s a pattern many Celtic teams have exhibited over the last few years. The ability to get in front but the inability to see the game out and in most cases, get anything from it.
The bhoys had a great first half an hour but after that, they looked all at sea when defending the very technically gifted Betis side.
It would have been a good game for the neutral but for Ange, it will be disappointing not to come away with at least a point.

Celtic are down to the absolute minimum when it comes to first team players.
There was nobody to turn to on the bench this evening to help turn the tide when things weren’t going our way. We can only hope we have players back in numbers for the rest of the competition.
Scoring three away from home and not coming away with at least a point is gutting.
