Video: Ange Postecoglou’s Live Post-Match Reaction

ANGE POSTECOGLOU managed his first competitive game for the club on Tuesday evening and saw his side play out a 1-1 draw at Celtic Park.

The Hoops looked far more impressive than they did last season but there was still the same old flaws coming through.

Self inflicted wounds, lacking a clinical edge and goalkeeping issues have cost us a victory.

The manager saluted his players for their efforts so early on in the season but now they must go to Denmark and grab a win to make sure of progression to the next round.

There were many positives on the night but if we’re to make strides after last season, some things need to be addressed urgently.

We need to look at bringing a goalkeeper into the club. If we rely on what we’ve go we’ll be begging for a new shot stopper come January.

New defenders, at least two centre backs and a right back have to be secured. Welsh did really well this evening as did Murray when he came on. Nir Bitton’s sending off was infuriating and he should have known better.
