Threats of lightning strikes caused a temporary evacuation at Kenan Stadium ahead of the highly anticipated pre-season friendly between Celtic and Manchester City. The safety of the fans and teams took priority as stadium authorities made the call to clear the stands.

As the weather threat subsided, fans began filtering back into the stadium. Despite the earlier scare, there has been no official word of a delay to the 12:30 am kick-off. Supporters of both clubs showed commendable patience and cooperation during the evacuation process.
