Sky Sports man Antony Joseph had provided Celtic fans with an update on Josip Juranovic’s immediate future after the latest round of rumours.
Sky Sports posted earlier on Sunday that Spanish Giants Atletico Madrid has shown interest in the Celtic title winner.
Now, Joseph writes Celtic are aware of interest in their star right-back, however, there have been no bids at this point and the club aren’t encouraging any.
The journalist also writes it would take a huge bid for Celtic to part with the Croatian.
Juranovic in demand
When you have talented players in your squad after a successful season, there is always going to be interest.
This Celtic side are at the beginning of what they could do. Ange Postecoglou wouldn’t want to see his top right-back leave the club and neither do the supporters.
As a club plying our trade in the Scottish game, we also have to be cognisant that if a massive bid was to come in, it might not be possible to reject it.
Fingers crossed we can keep a hold of Josip for a few seasons yet. The defender has been brilliant.
