Update: Celtic Not in the Clear Yet; Final Decision Tomorrow

This is a quick moving story since the news of Scotland’s move to get travellers from Dubai to retrospectively isolate.

The government want anyone flying back from Dubai since January 2 to isolate for ten days.

We reported earlier tonight Celtic have been told they’re exempt from the isolation period after a Clyde SSB posted on social media the club had heard word.

However, Sky News man James Matthews is reporting the club isn’t out of the woods yet and they should no by midday whether they can field a team for Monday evening against Hibernian.

There’s no room for rescheduled fixtures and if the unthinkable was to happen, an Aston Villa type situation where they play under 18s could come to fruition.

Fingers crossed we don’t have to do that but it’s yet another reason why this trip to Dubai was idiotic and whoever thought it was a good idea should be held accountable.
