CELTIC weren’t at their best at Pittodrie on Sunday but what a three points they managed to conjure up in the second half against the home side.
The bhoys took the lead early with many thinking they[‘d kick on and continue their scintillating free-scoring form but credit to Aberdeen who came into the game and grabbed an equaliser.
It was a frustrating watch for the support as Celtic launched aimless long balls up the field with nothing really coming from them. It would be a clever backheel from Edouard who would create a massive opening for Celtic which would see Callum McGrgegor carry the ball up the field, pass to Forrest who waited for the perfect time to slip in unlikely hero Kristofer Ajer who scored the winner with a striker’s finish!
It was the goal Celtic needed and after that, they shut up shop. Edouard should have made it 3-1 to calm our nerves for the last four or five minutes but the striker missed from point blank range.
Three points and for the moment, thirteen points clear. However, assuming The Rangers win their games in hand, it will be a seven point lead.
