We’re Glasgow Celtic bellowed out into the cold night air inside Leipzig’s stadium on Wednesday night before kick off as the fans pout on a pyro show from the stands.
Celtic Podcast ‘The Cynic’ posted up this unique footage of the light show from the back of the stand before kick off.
The fans were in fine voice and went on a rollercoaster ride throughout the 90 plus minutes. There were goals for both sides, two VAR goals chopped off for the home side and a calamitous mistake that led to Celtic losing the game.

Despite the result, fans were still in fine voice. If travelling Celtic fans have learned anything over the years, it’s to have fun win, lose or draw.
Celtic again showed they can play at this level, but they are simply not ruthless enough to this point. Cutting out basic errors and taking our chances when they come are the two keys to better results.
It remains to be seen if we can go through a full game without shooting ourselves in the foot.
The light show could put the club on a collision course with UEFA. If the match delegate notes the pyro in the stands, Celtic could be fined for doing so.
