KRISTOFFER AJER may only be out of surgery just over a week but he’s ALREADY back in training with the full squad.
The Norwegian suffered a very nasty face injury during Celtic’s draw with Livingston before the international break.
The defender broke his eye socket going up for a 50/50 challenge and was expected to be out for a prolonged period of time.
However, the latest pictures from Lennoxtown show the defender is wasting no time getting back up to full fitness and is raring to go.
This will be a welcome boost for Brendan Rodgers, if Boyata or Benkovic go down with an injury, Ajer would be there to slot right in without the team skipping a beat.
Ajer joked he looks like a proper defender now after the face surgery.
