Only a few weeks ago, former Celtic youngster and Hibs player Jackson Irvine was on Open Goal Sport talking to Si Ferry and Paul Slane.
The midfielder got to talking about his international exploits and brought up a manager who right now looks favourite to take over at Celtic.

Talking about international duty under Ange Postecoglou for the Socceroos, Irvine branded Ange an ‘unbelievable coach’ that he would love to see manage in Europe.

It’s a name that wasn’t on any Celtic fans radar 24 hours ago, let’s be honest. Unless you’re covering the Australian game of a Celtic fan down under, there’s very little chance you’ve heard of Postecoglou.
He’s been earning rave reviews from people who have followed his career and you can add Jackson Irvine into that mix now.
Currently at Yokohama Marinos, the coach has links to the City group. People are putting two and two together and saying a pairing of Ange and Harkin as DoF looks like a high probability.
