Celtic fans have been desperate for a big performance from their team and bhoy did they finally get it!

The bhoys in green were in absolutely scintillating form as they showed their ruthless streak against St Johnstone.

It was a memorable first half for the rampant Celtic team and in-particular James Forrest who was outstanding. His best performance in a Celtic jersey – the midfielder terrorised the St Johnstone backline and put four past them!

With Tom Rogic pulling the strings, St Johnstone did not know what had hit them and it just kept on coming.

The second half was quieter after Forrest broke away again only for Danny Swanson to kick out at the midfielder and get sent off for serious foul play.
