SunSport are reporting tonight e UK Government are about to force the football governing bodies to end the 19/20 season in the coming days as we get set for a long period of time without the beautiful game.

The bhoys are thirteen points clear at the top and were cruising towards the SPFL title when the coronavirus shut down was implemented.

This has left all clubs in limbo with partisan views being thrown about. Some educated and some not quite so educated.

David Friel believes they decision of ending the season will come from the Government to take it out of the football bodies hands. All the football bosses can do then is decipher what happens next. Title winners and relegations etc.

If all this was decided then competition money could be distributed early to clubs who will be feeling the financial strain of not having match day revenue.

Uncharted waters for all, calmness and sensible decisions have to be made.
