Celtic have today announced they have to postpone the away kit launch after UEFA restrictions around the stadium prevent the superstore from hosting the event.

The bhoys are taking on KR Reykjavik on Tuesday evening at Celtic Park. The kit was supposed to be launched the same day outside the stadium. UEFA have put a halt to that and instead the unveiling will take place 24 hours later.

What does this mean if I’ve pre-ordered online?

Celtic have told customers, anyone who pre-ordered the kit will still get them on the original date, it just affects people who want to go into the store and purchase.

The lime green away kit has been eagerly anticipated, it shouldn’t be too much of a problem for supporters to wait just a little bit longer.

We just hope when Wednesday comes we’re celebrating a victory in the Champions League as fans queue up for their jerseys.
