CELTIC top the form guide of all the Europa League teams heading into Thursday’s ties.

UEFA posted the graphic of who the in-form teams are in all competitions as we get set for another round of fixtures – Celtic’s opponents Bayer Leverkusen don’t make the list.

Good form can bring some good momentum, but there’s no underestimating the massive task Celtic have ahead of them.

They really need to take something from this game, if they don’t the Hoops must hope Ferencvaros can spring a surprise against Real Betis.

If one or the other happens, we can take a second-place finish right down to the wire against Real Betis on matchday six – the tie would be at Celtic Park.

Leverkusen humbled us at home, they won 4-0 but the manager was keen to stress it was never a 4-0 game. We didn’t do ourselves justice on that occasion. We have the chance to make up for it away from home, but Bayer will be out to make it a double.
