CELTIC were put to the sword by a ruthless Bayer Leverkusen side who showed no mercy when Celtic allowed them the space and time to do damage.
The bhoys had their moments and could have got on the scoreline if not for the heroics of the away goalkeeper.
We always knew we were on a hiding to nothing but Celtic fans will think we could have made a much better account of ourselves on the night. Beaten 4-0 at home is not a good look.

We can’t dwell on the game too much, there’s a massive game on Sunday for Celtic and that’s where the positives come in.
Ange brought CalMac and Kyogo for the tie against Bayer Leverkusen on Thursday night and the pair must be a stick on to start on Sunday at Pittodrie.
The pair will be key to our SPFL hopes going forward and we have to make sure they both do the business up north.
We’ve been badly missing Kyogo and his movement against Bayern was great at times. Hopefully, he gets back to scoring.
