CELTIC take on their Glasgow rivals on Monday afternoon at Ibrox. It’s the second meeting of the season and promises to be a memorable affair.
The Scottish Champions only have a few injury worries ahead of this one, and Ange is spoiled for choice in the midfield area.
Since Aaron Mooy’s performance during the Hibs game in the final game of 2022, there have been calls for the Australian to start in front of Matt O’Riley. The expectation is Josip Juranovic will return at right back, freeing up Reo Hatate to head back into the midfield.
It means either Mooy or O’Riley would drop out in that scenario.
We expect Kyogo to start, but who is on either side of him in the Celtic front three is up for discussion. Jota, Maeda and Abada need to fill two slots – who will it be?
Here’s our starting XI prediction.
Maeda could come in for either man on the wing. Ange likes the Japanese attacker in his team to press the opposition. Abada enjoys this particular fixture; it’s a tough call.
