Amidst the swirling rumours of a potential departure from Celtic during the January transfer window, Matt O’Riley was seen fully engaged in training, indicating that it was business as usual for him.
In other observations, Kyogo Furuhashi was spotted with a broad smile, suggesting a positive atmosphere among the players who seemed to be enjoying their training session. This comes as the team aims to extend their streak of victories in the Scottish Premiership.
However, the training session at Lennoxtown noted the absence of two significant players: Cameron Carter-Vickers and the newly signed Nicolas Kuhn. Carter-Vickers has not played since the match against Dundee on Boxing Day.
Despite Brendan Rodgers leaving him out of the recent Scottish Cup tie against Buckie Thistle and suggesting his return for the Ross County game, Carter-Vickers was nowhere to be seen during the training, casting doubts on his availability for the upcoming match.
