Celtic striker, Leigh Griffiths was pictured today returning to training with the first-team after missing the last two games against Ross County and AC Milan with a knee injury.
Pictures were released this afternoon of Neil Lennon’s squad preparing for tomorrows important league fixture against St Johnstone at Celtic Park.

Although the 30-year was pictured in training, there was still no sign of other notable absentees such as Mohamed Elyounoussi and Shane Duffy who appear to still be ruled out for tomorrow afternoon’s fixture.
Having Griffiths back will likely be a huge boost for Neil Lennon. He hasn’t had much game time this season but when he has, mostly coming off the bench, he has been effective scoring crucial goals against Aberdeen and St Johnstone.
It should be interesting to see if Lennon takes the plunge and puts Griffiths in from the start, possibly going with a front two to rekindle the partnership that was so effective in the second part of last season with Odsonne Edouard.
