This means Celtic’s two games against St Mirren and Aberdeen in the next five days are unlikely to go ahead while our rivals can rack up points.
Celtic have been put in this position by Boli Bolingoli and his trip to Spain which came to light over the past 24 hours.
It looks like the SPFL will have to placate the government by cancelling Celtic’s fixtures and postponing them until a date down the line.
This is a ridiculous situation Celtic find themselves in and the supporters and players have been let down by stupidity.
The club have already issued a statement on Bolingoli and his Celtic future appears very bleak indeed.
