Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou has delivered his first injury update since players arrived back after international duty.
There was mixed emotions throughout the camp after the break with some great highs and lows but the squad are now fully set and focused on performing against Motherwell at the weekend.
Hoops fans were given a tease of who was available for selection at the weekend after the club released a training video.
Ange Postecoglou confirmed to CeltsAreHere.com that going into the weekend’s fixtures that the only player who arrived back from international duty with a niggle was Greek striker Giorgos Giakoumakis.

Although there may have been concern around Sead Haksabanovic, David Turnbull and Daizen Maeda they have all been given the green light.
This had already been hinted at by Gus Poyet but Postecoglou expects Giakoumakis to be fine after the weekend meaning he won’t be on the sidelines for too long.
In terms of injuries in Celtic’s defence, before the break Cameron Carter-Vickers and Carl Starfelt were already on the injury table.

Postecoglou confirmed that Carter-Vickers is a little more advanced than Starfelt and although he will miss out this weekend the USA international will be assessed before the trip to face RB Leipzig.
With Starfelt missing out on pre-season, the club are being a little more precautious with the Swede not expected to return for action for another couple of weeks.
