The news broke Wednesday afternoon that Tom Rogic was heading for the Celtic exit after seven trophy-laden years at the club.
MailSport claims an unnamed Qatari side have put up the cash for the midfielder to the tune of £4m. The player signed a new five-year deal two years ago, with many supporters delighted Tom would be here for the ten in a row, but since then, his influence in the team had diminished.

However, there’s a new twist in this transfer story according to MailSport, who are now reporting Tom Rogic could be on his way to Brighton as some sort of makeweight in a deal to bring Shane Duffy to Celtic.
The seaside club are keen to sell Duffy this summer but Celtic can’t match what they want. Putting Tom Rogic up for sale has apparently alerted the English side.
The paper doesn’t claim any source on this, however, so we’d take it with a pinch of salt. It is food for thought and would keep Tom in British football.
