Transfer News: Celtic Star Heading for January Parkhead Exit

Turkish giants Besiktas are preparing an audacious bid for Celtic defender Dedryck Boyata according to Turkish Football Online.

The Celtic defender who is about to come into the last 6 months of his Celtic deal has had a number of clubs interested in him since the summer.

The Belgian tried to push through a move to Fulham in the latter days of the summer transfer window when Celtic turned down a sizeable offer for him.

He looks certain to leave Celtic next summer but could go quicker if a club puts down money for him in January and he’d only be allowed to go then if Celtic had a replacement.

With that in mind, Besiktas are reportedly looking to offer the defender big wages to join them in the summer.

If the club does not have to shell out a transfer fee for Dedryck then they have a much bigger wage packet to offer him.

Fulham, Aston Villa, Sevilla and Besiktas have all shown an interest and all four have the funds to bring him in during the winter window.

The Belgian star has stepped up since trying to push through a move and shown his worth to the team but it seems as if this is his farewell tour.
